The modern Dodge Challenger makes for a very interesting General Lee, even if the original was actually a Charger.

It becomes even more interesting as an SRT Hellcat like this one, which was filmed recently during a drag racing event.

For those who might want something more, there's the even madder Demon, an 840hp version that can go from naught to 60mph (96km/h) in just 2.3sec and does the quarter-mile in 9.65sec.
